Information: Lieutenant Percy Stuart Banning, 2nd Battalion Royal Munster Fusiliers, killed in action in Belgium. He was the only son of Lieutenant-Colonel S. G. Banning, late Royal Munster Fusiliers, and Mrs. S. T. Banning, of 50 Kensington Mansions, Earls Court. He was born in 1887, and received his commission in the Royal Munster Fusiliers in September, 1908, and was gazetted Lieutenant in March, 1910. He was married in March, 1913 to Mona Mary, only daughter of the late Mr. Alfred Chaplin, of Henfield, Sussex. His services were mentioned in despatches of November 11th.
