Information: Captain James T. McEntire, R.A.M.C., mentioned in despatches. He is the eldest son of the late Mr. Alexander Knox McEntire, B.L., Merrion Square, Dublin. He was educated at St. Andrew's College, Dublin, and Trinity College, obtaining his commission in the R.A.M.C. in 1903 and his Captaincy in 1907. He left for the front on August 18th, and has been mentioned in despatches, and has been awarded the Cross of the Legion of Honour by the French Government for gallantry and conspicuous service in the field.
