Information: Major-General Edward S. Bulfin C.Y.O. C.B., 2nd Infantry Brigade, Commanding Brigade at Aldershot since 1913, was mentioned in Sir John French's despatches, and promoted on October 26th to the rank of Major-General for distinguished services in the field. He is the second son of the late Mr. P. Bulfin, J.P., of Woodtown Park. Rathfarnham. He was educated at Stoneyhurst and Trinity College, Dublin. He entered the army in 1884, and has had a most distinguished career. He has been three times mentioned in despatches prior to the present war, and has the Queen's Medal with 4 clasps and the King's Medal with 2 clasps. He was wounded at Ypres on the 1st November, but has recovered sufficiently to rejoin his Brigade.
