Information: Lieutenant F. R. Robinson, South Staffordshire Regiment, who was killed in action on the 27th October, was the youngest son of the late Mr. St. George C. W. Robinson and Mrs. Robinson, Woodville, Sligo, and nephew of Sir Edward Carson. he was educated at Malvern College, and receiving his commission shortly before the declaration of war, he accompanied the first British Expeditionary Force which landed in France, and he took part in nearly all the important engagements of the campaign up to the time of his death.
