Information: 2nd Lieutenant Arthur M. O'B. Samuels, Royal Irish Fusiliers, was killed in action in France on October the 13th. He was the son of the late Lieut. Col. Wm. Frederick Samuels and Mrs. Samuels, Kingstown. He was attached to the South Irish Horse, and later to the Inniskilling Fusiliers. He was gazetted to the Special Reserve of the Royal Irish Fusiliers, and was commissioned to the first Battalion on the outbreak of the war, and accompanied the regiment to the front.
