Information: Lieutenant Averell Lecky, 2nd Battalion Prince of Wales' Leinster Regiment, was killed in action near Armentieres on October 20th. He was the second son of Lieut. Col. John Page Lecky, late 75th Regiment, now residing in Guernsey, and grandson of the late Mr. Hugh Lecky, of Beardville, Co. Antrim. He joined the service in December, 1908, and was gazetted first Lieutenant in October, 1910.
