Information: Captain B. Allgood, Royal Irish Rifles, who obtained his Captaincy in February, 1904, was for a considerable time in the Reserve of Officers, and was employed with the 3rd Batt. of his regiment. He rejoined on August 14th, 1914, in time to accompany his corps to the front, where he was killed in action in one of the mid-autumn engagements.
