Information: Sergeant Patrick McEnroy, Irish Guards, who has been mentioned in despatches by General Sir John French. Previous to the war Sergt. McEnroy was an enthusiastic boxer, having won the Navy and Army Middleweight Championship, N.S.C., in 1911, and he was the finalist in the Navy and Army Middleweight, 1909-10. He also was the winner of the “Best Shot” (all ranks) at Aldershot in 1910.
