Information: Captain the Hon. A. M. Henley, 5th Lancers, served in the South African War and took part in the operations in the Transvaal in May and June, 1900, including actions near Johannisberg and Pretoria. He was also present during the operations on the Zululand Frontier of Natal in September and October, 1901, and in Cape Colony in May, 1902. He then obtained the Queen's Medal with three clasps and the King's Medal with two clasps. Capt. Henley has been promoted to the rank of Brevet-Major for distinguished service in the field.
