Information: Captain C. Ridings, 1st Batt. Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers, who has been awarded the D.S.O. for gallantry and devotion to duty in connection with the operations at the Dardanelles, served in the South African War and took part in the relief of Ladysmith and the action at Colenso. He also took part in the operations on the Tugela Heights in February, 1900, and subsequently in the Transvaal and Orange River Colony. For his services during that period he was awarded the Queen's Medal with five clasps and the King's Medal with two clasps.
