Information: Lieutenant Robert A. Finlay, 5th Batt. Royal Dublin Fusiliers, was the younger son of Colonel H.F. Finlay, D.L., of Corkagh, Clondalkin, High Sheriff of the Co. Dublin. Lieutenant Finlay was gazetted to the 3rd Royal Dublin Fusiliers in July, 1913, and in March, 1915, was attached to the 1st Royal Irish Rifles in Flanders, where he was killed on May 9th, during an attack on the German trenches.
