Information: Lieutenant Richard Lambart, who has been awarded the D.S.O., is the first actor to gain this distinction. He has been leading man with Sir Charles Wyndham and Sir John Hare in London and with Mr. Charles Frohman in New York. He comes of a fighting family, for he is a son of the late Major Frederick Lambart, Royal Scots Fusiliers, and great-grandson of the 9th Earl of Cavan. His family is well represented in the great war: his cousin, Brigadier-General Lord Cavan is at the front, and his uncle, Brig. General Lambart, is training Kitchener's new army at Bordon.
