Information: The Rev. Percy Wyndham Guinness, who is the first clergyman to receive the D.S.O., is the second son of the Rev. Wyndham Guinness, Rector of Rathdrum. He is a Graduate of Cambridge University, and entered the Church of England, undertaking duty in the diocese of Birmingham. Some years ago he obtained an army chaplaincy, and accompanied the Expeditionary Force to France, where his coolness and bravery under fire were fittingly rewarded by the above distinction.
