Information: Lieutenant John Arthur Rice M‘Cormick, Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve, was killed in action in the Dardanelles. He joined the Volunteer Reserve about the end of September and was first in the “Hawk” Battalion and afterwards transferred to the “Nelson” Battalion. He was afterwards sent to Egypt, but was there only a few weeks when he was ordered to the Dardanelles and was in the second landing there. He was the only son of Mr. T. C. M‘Cormick, Blackrock House, Blackrock.
