Information: Captain Stephen Ussher, 129th Duke of Connaught's Own Baluchis, Indian Army, was killed at Givenchy on December 16th last. Captain Ussher came of an Irish family, his father, Rev. Richard Ussher, Vicar of Westbury, North Hants, being a native of County Waterford. Captain Ussher was educated at St. Edward's School, Oxford, and the Royal Military College, Sandhurst. He was first attached to the Buffs at Poona in 1902, and in 1904 was appointed to the Baluchis; he received his Captaincy in 1911 and served as Adjutant to the regiment for four years.
