Information: Captain Beverley Ussher, Leinster Regiment, went out with the Mediterranean Expeditionary Force as Staff Captain and was killed at the Dardanelles. Captain Ussher was a son of the Rev. R. Ussher, Vicar of Westbury, Brackley, Northampton. He was born in 1879, was educated at St. Edward's School and Wadham College, Oxford, and in 1900 received a University commission in the Leinsters. For service in the South African War he received the Queen's Medal with four clasps. His brother, Captain Stephen Ussher, 129th Baluchis, was killed in action in France in December last.
