Information: Lieutenant Henry d' Esterre Head, 2nd Batt. Royal Dublin Fusiliers, died from the effects of gas poisoning in France on June 1st. He was appointed to the Royal Dublin Fusiliers in October last and went to the front with his regiment in December, and had been through much severe fighting. Lieutenant Head was educated at Monkstown Park School, and at Bromsgrove, and passed into the Royal Military College, Sandhurst. He was the eldest son of Mr. d'Esterre Prittie Head, M.I.C.E., who is Chief Engineer on the Government Railways in South Africa. Lieutenant Head is a grandson of Mrs. Head, Clarinda Park, Kingstown.
