Information: Captain Craig Nelson, 3rd Brahmas attached 69th Punjabis, was killed in action in France on September 26th last. Captain Nelson was a son of Surgeon-Major Nelson, The Hill, Downpatrick, and was educated at Armagh Royal School and in Germany. He went through the South African campaign with the 2nd Royal Irish Rifles, and afterwards joined the Indian Army. On the outbreak of the war he went to Egypt, where he was appointed Staff Officer and was about to be re-appointed Staff Officer in Flanders when he fell in action. Captain Nelson married some years ago Miss Irene Sawyer, daughter of Colonel Sawyer, Indian Army, and leaves two boys.
