            Information: Lieutenant Cecil John Trower Black, Royal Marine Light Infantry, who gave his life for his King and Country in the Dardanelles on May 9th, was a son of Mr. W. Black, High Sheriff for the Co. Monaghan. Lieutenant Black was only 18 years of age, and his kindly disposition, unassuming manner and absolute fearlessness had endeared him to all with whom he came in contact.
