Information: Captain Thomas Villiers Thacker Neville, 3rd Dragoon Guards, was the eldest son of the late Mr. Joseph William Thacker, of 40 Upper Fitzwilliam Street, Dublin, and a grandson of the late Mr. Thomas Neville, of Borrismore, County Kilkenny, whose surname he took last year. He reached the rank of captain in 1909, was adjutant of the Yorkshire Dragoons, after which he rejoined his regiment and proceeded to Egypt. At the outbreak of the present war his regiment was ordered to the front. He was killed fighting in the trenches near Ypres on May 13th, 1915, in a very severe engagement, in which his squadron, though heavily bombarded and attacked both in front and rear, held its ground.
