Information: Lieutenant John Rowe Dill 69th Punjabs, Indian Army, was killed in action on Sunday, June 6th, in France. He was the third son of the Very Rev. Marcus Dill, D.D., Alloway, ex-Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland, and formerly of the Presbyterian Church, Ballymena, County Antrim. Lieutenant Dill was in his 26th year. He joined the North Staffordshire Regiment in 1910, and was transferred to the Indian Army in 1911.
