Information: Major Elliott Beverley Bird, R.A.M.C., who has been mentioned in despatches, is the only son of Mr. Geo. Beverley Bird, King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry, and nephew of the late Captain Hollway Steeds, of Clonsilla, Co. Dublin. Major Bird married, in 1909, the Hon. Gladys Rice, eldest daughter of the 6th Baron Dynevor. He was educated at Cheltenham College and Trinity College, Dublin, and is a Licentiate of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ireland.
