Information: Captain Gilbert Page-Leschelles, 7th Royal Dublin Fusiliers, who was killed in action at the Dardanelles on August 15th, was the second son of the late Mr. Henry Page-Leschelles and Mrs. Leschelles, of Highams, Windlesham, Surrey. He was educated at Radley and at Trinity College, Cambridge, where he took his degree in 1901. He married, in 1905, Edith, younger daughter of the late Rev. J. W. Bennett, of Newchurch-in-Rossendale, and formerly of St. Paul's, South Hampstead. Capt. Page-Leschelles served for five years in the Inns of Court Mounted Infantry, and in September last was gazetted to the Dublin Fusiliers, obtaining his Captaincy in the following January. He leaves surviving a widow and a little son and daughter.
