Information: Second Lieutenant Harold Gordon Jameson, Royal Engineers (65th Field Company), was killed in action at the Dardanelles on August 16th, 1915, in his 26th year. He was the sixth son of Mr. and Mrs. Jameson, Campfield House, Dundrum, and was educated at Monkton Combe School, Bath, and afterwards at Trinity College, Dublin, where he passed through the Engineering School. He was appointed to the Sudan Irrigation Service, but was in Ireland when the war broke out, and at once volunteered.
