Information: Lieutenant Kevin Emmet O'Duffy, 7th Munster Fusiliers, who was killed in action at the Dardanelles on August 15th, was a son of Mr. Kevin O'Duffy, 85 Harcourt Street. He was educated at Athlone and Belvedere before entering Stonyhurst, where he held the Senior Scholarship and gained four gold medals and one silver. He entered Trinity College in 1914, was Librarian of the College Historical Society and one of the ablest cadets of the O.T.C. He joined the 7th Munsters shortly after the outbreak of the war and obtained his lieutenancy in January last.
