Information: Second Lieutenant Archibald Roche Toomey, 6th Leinster Regiment, who was killed in action at the Dardanelles on August 10th last, was the eldest son of Mr. Archibald Toomey, 20 Palmerston Park, Dublin. He was educated at St. Stephen's Green School and Portora Royal School, subsequently entering Trinity Medical School. On the outbreak of the war he applied for and was granted a commission in the 6th Batt. Leinster Regiment from the Officers' Training Corps, T.C.D.
