Information: Captain R. Maxwell Pike, Royal Flying Corps, who was reported missing on August 9th last, is now reported dead. Captain Pike, who was a son of Mr. R. L. Pike, Kilnock, Co. Carlow, entered the Navy when a young man, but owing to an injury to his knee had to leave the service. On the outbreak of the war he joined the Royal Flying Corps. He was a most daring and skilful aviator, and his place in the corps will be difficult to fill.
