Information: Lieutenant Arthur Augustus Raymond, 3rd Royal Irish Rifles, who has died from wounds received in action at Gallipoli on April 28th last, was the only surviving son of the late Captain H. W. Raymond, Royal Irish Rifles, and was only in his 19th year. Lieut. Raymond was educated at Wellington College and Sandhurst, and obtained his commission in the Royal Irish Rifles shortly after the outbreak of the war. He was wounded in the attack on June 16, but continued to serve until August 2nd, when he fell.
