Information: Lieutenant Kenneth Rowley Forde, 3rd Batt. East Kent Regiment, who was killed in action in Flanders on July 23rd, was a son of the Rev. Canon Hugh Forde, L.L.D., Finlagan Rectory, Ballykelly, Londonderry. Lieut. Forde was in Japan when the war broke out, and when the call for volunteers came he resigned a lucrative post and came home to offer his services to his country.
