Information: Lieutenant John H. F. Leland, 5th Batt. Royal Welsh Fusiliers, was killed in action at the Dardanelles on August 10th last. He was the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Leland, Blackrock, and was an ex-Scholar and Moderator of Trinity College and a member of the Irish Bar. At the outbreak of the war he volunteered and was gazetted to the 5th Royal Welsh Fusiliers in August, 1914, and served with them until killed in action at the Dardanelles on August 10th, 1915.
