Information: Captain Poole Henry Hickman, who fell in action at Gallipoli on August 15th last, was one of the many members of the Irish Bar who on the outbreak of the war joined the 7th Batt. Royal Dublin Fusiliers. He was called to the Bar in 1909, and was hon. secretary of the Munster Circuit. His short professional career was full of promise, and he was highly esteemed by his colleagues. Captain Hickman was a son of Mr. F. W. Hickman, D.L., Kilmore, Knock, and was educated at Tipperary Grammar School and Trinity College.
