Information: Captain Richard Patrick Tobin, only son of Dr. R. F. Tobin, St. Stephen's Green, Dublin, had just passed his 21st birthday when, on August 15th, at Gallipoli, he, with so many of his gallant “Pals”, gave his life in his country's cause. Captain Tobin was much beloved by his company, and the letters received from his comrades tell how bravely he took his part on that fatal day, which will be ever remembered with pride and grief by “all that was left of them”.
