Information: Mr. John J. McGrath, who died on August 8th from wounds sustained in action at the Dardanelles on the same day, was another of those who on the outbreak of war joined the 7th Dublins, and served with his comrades in the ranks, where he was promoted Company Quarter-Master-Sergeant, and cheerfully and bravely gave his life for his country. He was a brother of Mrs. Bermingham, wife of Mr. E. J. Bermingham, L.D.S., Harcourt Street.
