Information: Captain Gerald William Nugent, Royal Irish Rifles and 29th Infantry Brigade, who has been killed in action, was the second son of Sir John Nugent, Bart., of Cloncoskoraine, Co. Waterford. He was formerly in the Worcestershire Regiment, and was gazetted temporary Captain in September, 1914, and Staff Captain in January of this year. Capt. Nugent married Norah, daughter of the late Dr. W. H. Bagnell, and leaves one daughter.
