Information: 24640 Private James Edward Quin, 13th Batt. Royal Canadian Highlanders, who has been missing since the battle of St. Julien in Flanders, is now reported killed. He was the elder son of the late Mr. John Quin, D.L., Limerick, and was educated at Stonyhurst College and Louvain University. He was in Canada at the outbreak of the war, but immediately joined the Canadian contingent and was killed on the Ypres road, where his battalion having refused to surrender were practically annihilated, having fought until their ammunition was expended.
