Information: Captain R.N. Pike, West African Frontier Force, who was killed in action at the taking of Mora, N. Cameroons, on September 8th last, was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Pike, Glenderary, Achill Sound, Co. Mayo. He served in the Irish Batt. Imperial Yeomanry during the Boer War. He afterwards joined the West African Frontier Force, and was later appointed Asst. Resident in West Africa, but when war broke out he again joined the West African Frontier Force and was promoted temporary Captain.
