Information: Captain J. Percival Longfield M.V.O., 1st Batt. Norfolk Regiment, who was killed in action in France on September 30th last, was the only son of Lt. Colonel Longfield, of Waterloo, Mallow, County Cork. Captain Longfield retired from the Army in 1912, but immediately war broke out he rejoined his regiment. His death is a great loss to the Irish Hunting field, where he was well known as joint Master with Mr. R. G. Annesley of the Duhallow Hounds.
