Information: Lieutenant Irving M. Palmer, R.N. H.M.S. Comet, has been awarded the Distinguished Service Cross for service on the river Tigris, Mesopotamia, especially for the capture of a battalion of Turkish officers and men—twenty five officers, including a general, and three hundred and seventeen men. He is youngest son of Surgeon I.M. Palmer, Armagh, and has two brothers in the Royal Navy—Commander Alex. R. Palmer and Acting Commander E.M. Palmer.
