Information: Captain Francis Percy Freeman, R.A.M.C., Has been awarded the Military Cross for conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty during operations near Hulluch, from 25th to 29th September, 1915. For four consecutive days and nights he brought in and attended to the wounded, repeatedly going out under heavy fire. By his personal bravery and energy he set a splendid example to his men. He was mentioned in despatches after Neuve Chapelle. He is the eldest son of the late Mr. David Freeman, and Mrs. Freeman, Saravan, Morehampton Road. His two brothers are also with the forces.
