Information: Lieutenant John Bell Hollwey, 52nd Brigade, Royal Field Artillery, has been awarded the Military Cross for conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty on many occasions, notably on 25th September, 1915, when, as observing officer, he accompanied the infantry attack on Hohenzollern redoubt and laid a telephone wire under fire. Lieutenant Hollwey is a son of Mr. John Hollwey, Ardfallen, Dalkey. He was educated at St. Andrew's College, Dublin.
