Information: Lieutenant Francis Joseph Wisely, R.A.M.C., died of wounds received in action in the Dardanelles on September 1st last. He was the second son of the late Mr. Tames Wisely and Mrs. Wisely, Ravenhill Road, Belfast, and was educated at Clongowes Wood College, Royal University and Queen's College, Belfast. He had a brilliant Intermediate and University career, taking his degree in Medicine and Arts and securing a valuable scholarship for Botany and Zoology. He was for a short time Resident Surgeon at the Mater Hospital, Belfast and afterwards Resident Surgeon in Worcester County Asylum.
