Information: Lieutenant John Joseph Leo Morgan, 2nd Batt. Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers, died of wounds sustained in action in France on May 16th last. Lieutenant Morgan was a younger brother of Lieutenant S. V. Morgan, Adjutant, 3rd Batt. Royal Irish Rifles, Portobello Barracks, Dublin. He was born in Newtownards and joined the Royal Irish Rifles about 14 years ago. He served for five years with the 1st Battalion in India and returned to England with his Battalion shortly after the outbreak of war. He was posted to the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers in November, 1914.
