Information: Andrew John Viscount Stuart, was killed near Haines, France, during a German counter-attack, after leading his men in the storming of the Hohenzollern Redoubt on September 25, 1915. The late Viscount, who was educated at Shrewsbury and Corpus Christi College, Oxford, was in his thirty fourth year when he was killed. Viscount Stuart was a great lover of literature and art, and was the author of some verses, entitled, “Sailor, what of the Debt we Owe You?” which appeared in the “Times”, September 16th, 1914. He was loved by all classes.
