Information: Lieutenant Thomas Cornelius Campbell, R.E., was the eldest son of the Rev. Wm. Howard Campbell, M.D., B.D., Missionary in Cuddapah, Madras, South India, and of Mrs. Campbell, of Edinburgh. He was born in India in 1887. He was educated at Foyle College, Derry, and afterwards at Queen's College, Galway, and had a brilliant University career. On the outbreak of war he gave up a good position in Toronto, and came to England. He left with the 11th Division for the Dardanelles on July 5th, and on October 5th was wounded in action and died three days later.
