Information: Lieutenant Richard Newman Somerville, 94th Field Company Royal Engineers, was killed in action in France on Saturday, 9th October. Lieutenant Somerville was the eldest son of Mr. R. N. Somerville, of Osborne Park, Belfast, who for many years was County Surveyor of Cavan, and a grandson of the late Rev. J. D. Martin, of Tullyallen, County Armagh. He was educated at the Royal School, Cavan, and was a graduate of Trinity College, Dublin, and a member of the Officers' Training Corps.
