Information: Captain Harold E. Large, 10th Rifle Brigade, is the third son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Emmott Large, of Surbiton, to fall in the present war. Major Philip Martin Large, 3rd Middlesex Regiment, was killed on April 23rd, and Captain Herbert Edward Large, also of the 3rd Middlesex Regiment, was killed on February 15th. Captain Harold Emmott Large, who was the fifth and youngest son, was killed in action in France on October 9th last. He was educated at Sherborne, and was formerly in the Militia, but on the outbreak of the war obtained his Captaincy in the 10th Rifle Brigade. He lived at Plodstown, Mullingar, and was a well known follower of the Westmeath Hunt.
