Information: Lieutenant William Charles Nesbitt, 6th Batt. Royal Dublin Fusiliers, of St. Mary's, Booterstown Avenue, Blackrock, was killed in action at the Dardanelles on August 16th last. He was educated at Blackrock College. He was a member of the Finance, Works, Library and Technical Committees of the Blackrock Council. Lieutenant Nesbitt was the only son of the late Mr. Wm. Nesbitt, Dove House, Blackrock. Immediately the war broke out he joined the 6th Dublin Fusiliers and went with his Regiment to the Dardanelles.
