Information: Lieutenant Francis Curley, Royal Engineers, who was killed in action in France on September 25th, was a son of the late Mr. Alex. Curley and Mrs. Curley, Mentmore, Lisburn Road, Belfast. He was educated at the Queen's University, Belfast, where he took his degree as Bachelor of Science in 1912. On the outbreak of war he obtained a commission in the Royal Engineers, and had been at the front since January last.
