Information: Lieutenant Richard Patrick Wilmot Gethin, 2nd Battalion Royal Munster Fusiliers, was the only son and child of Mrs. Henry Gethin, 1 Carbury Place, Blackrock, and was educated at Stoneyhurst College. His father, Captain Henry R. Gethin, was killed in action in 1900 in South Africa leading his men into action, and now his son has also met a soldier's death on September 25-26.
