Information: Second Lieutenant John Donald Forbes, 10th Lancashire Fusiliers, who died at No. 10 Casualty Clearing Station, Aveele, on September 27th, of wounds received the same day, was the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. John Forbes, 72 Eglantine Avenue, Belfast. He was nineteen years old. He was educated at the Royal Academical Institution, Belfast, and on December 28th last he obtained his commission through the Queen's University O.T.C.
